Great price comparing to other companies. Great and safe driver Tader picked us up on time and told us some historical stories of the island and he knows everything about trees and plants. Such a fun time to be in the car with him. He makes sure he drives safely and we were not scared in the car. The tours are amazing. We did the hiking, south tour, dolphin tour and hired Tader to drive us around for the day. Perfect service, quick responses, polite, great value for money. Book with this agency when you go!

We booked the South Tour and hiking Le Morne, we couldn't be happier! Everything from booking to pick up went smoothly and the communication was easy. The prices for the tours are much better than the ones you get in the hotels. The south tour is a must for everyone visiting Mauritius! Hiking Le Morne is challenging and some people just gave up in the middle, but it's absolutely worth the sweat, as the views are amazing. We'd like to thank our driver Sunil - he was always right on time, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor! He explained us everything from the history of the island to specific information for the places we've been to, so this made the ride really enjoyable.
I arranged, at short notice, a car with driver to take my family on a tour of the South including Black River Gorges, the dormant volcano, Chamarel, Grande Bassin; the car provided was a 6 seater, helpful driver Jean Michel, cost of Rs 2600. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Booked the South Tour via Belle Mare Tours. ad a great day out, visitng a vanilla plantation/gift shop, dormant volcano at Trou aux Cerfs, the fascinating Hindu Temple complex at Grand Bassin, the Black River Gorge and the coloured sands at Chamarel. We paid RM2600 for a larger taxi (in fact a minibus) which included both a driver and a tour guide for the day. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and great fun to be with. The only extra costs were lunch, entry fees at Chamarel and well-earned tips for the guide and driver. Booked by phone - the company couldn't have been more helpful, and everything was delivered as promised. All in all a really enjoyable day out visiting some lovely places on this beautiful island.
Not pushy with the trips excellent value prompt pick up taxi and driver for a full day very informative about the island didn't feel rushed could take our time at each stop driver found us somewhere beautiful to have our picnic lunch Cost approx £40 for full day did visit to Curepipe extinct volcano Grand basin black River gorge Alexander falls ( for lunch) or driver would have taken you to a restaurant if you preferred and the chameral seven colour earth.
I hired Belle Mare Tours for two tours. First one was South tour and second one was Big game fishing. For first tour I made reservation at home and everything was perfect - driver came exactly at time agreed, we saw all things promised. Even more, we could stop to see some additional places (Tamil temple, Morna mountain from different perspective,...). For second tour Big game fishing I made reservation "on site". I simply wrote them an email with my wishes and they responded very fast. This Big game fishing trip was more expensive and I didn't have enough cash with me - but Belle Tours gave me an option to pay with credit card. Day before Big game fishing they came to my hotel (about 20 km away from our hotel) to pay - very professional! Highly recommend!!! Not expensive but very professional, helpful, reliable,...
Jean Michel from Belle Mare tours was our driver during our awesome south island tour. We went to several spots on 1 day, incl. Charamel waterfall, rhumery, 7 colour sand, etc. Very flexible and we could customize where needed. Jean Michel knows a lot about the surroundings. We're very happy that he was our tour guide! Highly recommended.
Well organised and very reasonably priced tours with locals who have lots of information that you'd miss if you rented a car and did them yourself. We were able to add the Sugar museum (L'Aventure du Sucre) to the north tour which I highly recommend as Sugar Cane is a hugely important crop on the island. Botanic garden also very good. Good weather is important for the south tour as much of it is on the plateau which is high in mountains. The Coloured Earths of Chamerel is very well worth the gate fee plus the waterfall is spectacular.
We booked a day speed boat trip along the East coast and had a thoroughly enjoyable day visiting several islands, the waterfall and the marine park where we snorkeled. A lobster and chicken lunch was served in the shade just off the beach. Our captain was very informative and gave us quite an exciting ride at times. All in all an enjoyable day, well organised and good value. Collected by minibus from and returned to our hotel Would recommend.
