We discovered this agency on Trip Advisor and chose to contact them based on The good reviews. They were more than deserved! We made four excursions with them: the south and the north, the speedboat in the east and catamaran in the north. The staff is friendly, always on time and the prices are very interesting. With special thanks to Jean-Michel, our taxi/tour guide, for his explanations about Mauritius, his kindness and the many beautiful places he showed us, and to Naguesh in the office for making all this happen and for his good advices.

Lovely day out, better weather would have made it amazing. Reefs were beautiful but as it was too choppy we weren't able to stay for too long snorkelling. That was due to the 'anti-cyclone'. The tour guides were informative and helpful and we would certainly use them again.
We used Belle Mare Tours purely because I stumbled across them whilst walking around in Belle Mare we took them up on the catamaran trip from North Bay over to Flat Island. The trip was fantastic considering it was overcast in the morning. Jean our driver was first class and the boat crew were amazing sailing back sitting on the netting is a memory that will live with me forever. The lunch was brilliant and no shortage of drinks. Thanks guys I hope many more people choose you in future first class tour operator
We used Bell Mare Tours for an excursion to Ile aux Cerfs on May 23 and it was one of the most exciting day of our vacation trip. From the early morning pick up to the drop off at the island, the pick up for lunch, the succulent BBQ, the sightseeing along the GRSE estuary (with monkeys and bats in their natural habitat)... we were amazed - what a wonderful day!!!. The staff were very accommodating especially with our 2 young toddlers. Next time, when our children will be older, we will definitely try the "catamaran". Thanks to Satar and the skillful skipper of the "Wave runner".
We had read good reviews about this company on Trip advisor and so used them each time we went out from our hotel (Maritim) in Mauritius, of coarse the hotel preferred we had used their hotel taxis which were considerably more expensive and tried to stop outside companies coming up their drive. I don't like being told who I can and cannot use so we went with Belle Mare tours to go on a fabulous catamaran trip, also to Port Louis and to Flaq market etc. they were friendly drivers, punctual, helpful, clean vehicles, trustworthy and reasonably priced. What more could one ask for.
We used Belle Mare tours in the first 2 weeks of June and were impressed with how amicable and professional Noorani and Sartaj were. We did the following excursions: - Blue bay motor boat trip - really exciting day out covering blue bay marine park, volcanic islands, waterfall and including a fabulus BBQ lunch on an island- thoroughly recommended -Casela Nature & leisure park including Zipline. A really good day out...the Zip lines being an awsome experience. We had to collect the photo CD at a later date and Noorani very kindly arranged to pick these free of charge! - South Tour - covered the black river Gorge and Chamarel (15 coloured earth) together with a visit to a hindu temple with the largest statue of Shiva outside India -Undersea walk - although only about 20 minutes, it was a unique experiece for my wife who can't swim (a diver escorted us at all times)
What a find! We walked into Belle Mare and found Belle Mare tours, they are so friendly and so professional. They recommended local restaurants, the best place to exchange money etc. we rented a scooter from them and they delivered it to our hotel. We also booked a boat cruise through them which they had to postpone a couple of times because of the weather, they could have easily taken us on a windy/cloudy day but they rather postponed it and took us when the weather was great They are not there to just take your money, they want you to have a great time. All in all they made us feel so welcome. We will highly recommend them.
About half the price of hotel services. Offer exactly the same thing. Prompt service, really good days out. On one occasion we unwittingly overpaid a driver, he didn't realise until after we came back from a catamaran tour but met us to give us the money back. Honest, lovely people.
We indulged in Para Sailing, The Tube ride. They were so much fun to do. Really a must do for all ages. The undersea walk we avoided as travelling with a small child.
